Mainnet Manual
Your go-to guide to get started with Palladium.
Prepare Yourself
1. Install an EVM-Compatible Wallet
Install an EVM-compatible wallet (for example, OKX Wallet or MetaMask configured for Botanix) on your device. This allows you to interact with the Palladium app.
Access: https://app.palladiumlabs.org/
Click Connect Wallet in the app. If you are using the Botanix network for the first time, the app will try to add Botanix network details to MetaMask. If you are on another network, it will prompt you to switch.
💡Tip: Always review MetaMask prompts before approving. If you don’t understand what is being requested, reject it.
Alternatively, you can manually add the network:
Network Name: Botanix Mainnet
RPC URL: https://rpc.botanixlabs.com
Chain ID: 3637
Currency Symbol: BTC
Block Explorer URL: https://botanixscan.io
Once connected, you will see your EVM address displayed in the app.
2. Acquire BTC on Botanix
You’ll need BTC on Botanix for:
Paying transaction fees on Botanix Layer 2
Using BTC as collateral to borrow $PUSD
You can bridge BTC to Botanix via the native Botanix Bridge or alternatively through the Garden Bridge.
Join #MainframeOverride
Once your wallet holds BTC on Botanix, connect to Palladium. After connecting your wallet, you will go through a user onboarding process:
If you hold an Ascension NFT, no access code is required.
If you do not hold an Ascension NFT, you must get one from an existing user. Join our Discord to meet other users.
Once the access code is validated, you must sign the terms of engagement to continue.
Borrow $PUSD by opening a Trove
Navigate to the Borrow section from the Navbar.
Click Open Trove and select your preferred collateral type: $pBTC, $stBTC, or $rovBTC.
Additionally, the Borrow page shows all supported collateral types with their maximum LTVs, one-time fees, and TVL. You can use this to open new Troves with the asset of your choice.
If you only hold native BTC, you will see an option to convert it to your chosen collateral. This will redirect you to the conversion page. Complete the conversion there, then return to the Trove interface.
Enter the amount of collateral you wish to deposit.
The interface will show the maximum $PUSD you can borrow. Choose an amount within this limit (minimum debt: 100 $PUSD).
Trove’s minimum debt requirement is 100 $PUSD. You will need to deposit a minimum of ~$150 in collateral to open a position. Depositing more will help maintain a healthy collateral ratio and lower your liquidation risks.
Review the Trove details in the information panel:
A liquidation reserve is added to your debt. This covers gas and liquidation incentives. It is fully refundable when you close your Trove.
A one-time borrowing fee is added to your debt.
Click Open Trove and sign the transaction in your wallet.
Once confirmed, you will be redirected to the Trove Dashboard, where you can monitor your position and collateral ratio.
💡 Tip: You can easily add the $PUSD token to your wallet from the app, or manually use this contract: 0x42725b4D9270CFe24F6852401fdDa88248CB4dE9.
Note: Once a Trove is opened, its summary will be available on the Borrow page. You can open more than one Trove to use other collateral assets.
Adjust Your Trove
After opening a Trove, you can manage it flexibly:
Go to the Borrow section. If you already have a Trove, click View Details to open your Trove dashboard.
Use the Collateral section to deposit more collateral or withdraw existing collateral.
Use the Debt section to borrow more $PUSD or repay your debt.
How It Works:
Input values in the borrow/repay or deposit/withdraw fields as needed.
Click Update Trove and sign the transaction.
Important:
You can deposit more collateral without borrowing more $PUSD or vice versa. Same for repaying debt and withdrawing collateral as long as you are within the required LTV thresholds.
You cannot reduce your debt below the minimum required unless you fully close your Trove.
Close Your Trove
To close your Trove:
Head over to your Trove Dashboard.
Click on the Close Trove button to review repayment details.
The refundable liquidation reserve is already adjusted in your repayment term.
Ensure your wallet holds enough $PUSD to repay your full debt.
Click Close Trove and sign the transaction.
Upon closing:
Your BTC collateral will be returned in full.
Any required $PUSD needed to repay your debt must be sourced externally (for example, via a DEX or another address).
Stake and earn on $PUSD
After borrowing $PUSD, you can put it to work by staking in the yPUSD vault to earn yield:
Navigate to the Earn section from the navbar.
Enter the amount of $PUSD you wish to stake.
The interface will show your expected yPUSD balance after staking. yPUSD represents your share of the yield pool and grows in value as protocol earnings are distributed.
Click Stake PUSD and sign the transaction in your wallet.
Once confirmed, your yPUSD balance will appear on your dashboard.
